Alexander Girard Plate Set
In 1956, Alexander Girard (American, 1907-1992) was commissioned by Georg Jensen to design seven table settings for an exhibition in New York. The Millers used the Carolus Magnus pattern at their house in Columbus, Indiana. The motifs in our porcelain plate set represent Pinwheel, Patera 1, Patera 2, and Hexagon designs.
The Girard mug matches the plate set.
Set of four 8" porcelain plates.
