Drop-in Event: Explore Water with the BioBus at White River State Park
Head down to White River State Park for a chance to explore water ecology with the Cell Motion BioBus. The BioBus is a repurposed 1974 San Francisco transit bus that is powered by green technology and is outfitted with high-tech laboratory equipment. You will be able to explore a water sample from the White River using high powered microscopes and learn about the green technology that powers the bus. While you are there, check out the IMA’s newest outdoor installation FLOW (Can You See the River?), a city wide art project helping citizens of Indianapolis engage with the important and unique elements of the White River. The BioBus will be parked on the Old Washington Street Bridge with an excellent view of the FLOW installation.
