IMA Garden Tour & Audubon Lecture

Celebrate Spring with the IMA Horticultural Society and tour Spring Blooms: Celebration of Color. Afterward join Jim McCormac, a leading expert on Audubon.

1–2:30 pm: Garden Tour.
Take a tour of Spring Blooms, led by Jonathan M. Wright, the Ruth Lilly Deputy Director for Horticulture and Natural Resources, and Chad Franer, director of horticulture. Tour starts at 1 pm at the Showalter Pavilion.

3–4 pm: Audubon’s Birds of America discussion.
Special guest, Jim McCormac has spent 31 years working for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as a botanist and bird specialist. Hear him discuss Audubon’s style, talent for presenting birds as art, and some of the enduring mysteries of Birds of America. Talk held in DeBoest Lecture Hall. Guests are encouraged to stay and visit the IMA exhibition, Audubon: Drawn to Nature.

General admission to the museum and gardens is not included.
