Spring Equinox: One Thing Leads to Another

Included with admission

Mark the change of seasons at IMA’s annual Spring Equinox event featuring One Thing Leads to Another by artist Tamar Ettun, a working installation and multi-media performance, inside an overturned hot air balloon, reanimated through dance and music. Dancers will move from one end of the balloon to another, each making an effort to complete tasks while navigating the changing environment.

The music played by an ensemble of PVC wind instruments conceived by Yonatan Gutfeld centers around the concept and act of blowing, which will aid in strategically inflating the balloon.

The audience can come and go as they like, and is encouraged to move inside and outside the balloon to witness the narrative evolve.
