Rob, a 30-something record store clerk, recounts his top five worst breakups in this film about coming to terms with growing up. With contemporary music as a metaphor for the rhythm of real life, the characters in this film are familiar and recognizable as those who inhabit our own lives. Based on the 1995 book by Nick Hornby, the film stars John Cusack, Jack Black, Catherine Zeta Jones and Tim Robbins.
