Connor Shaw, owner of Possibility Place Nursery in Monee, Illinois, shares his lifetime of knowledge on how urban yards and gardens can benefit from a healthy mix of native and introduced species of plants. Shaw will review a wide range of native woody plants—highlighting bloom cycles, fall color, fruit type, structure, cultural needs, and even their uses in Colonial times. He’ll add his insights from 30 years of collecting, propagating and growing these garden treasures. Supported by the IMA Horticultural Society.
