Vision Statement
IMA public programs seek to raise the level of cultural dialogue in Indianapolis through the presentation of fresh, adventurous content. Each program is selected to pique visitor curiosity and to broaden interaction with art, creativity, and the world of ideas. Programs include speakers, film, performances, and special events characterized by though-provoking content, cross-cultural themes and innovation in form or content. Programs are geared toward visitors with varying experience levels and cultural perspectives, and are often presented in partnership with strategic collaborators.
It's Your Discretion
Art you a parent or guardian wondering if a certain film or performance is appropriate for a young person? As a museum striving to present creativity and culture in its many forms, we support access to artistic expression and every guardian's right to determine suitability of material for a child or youth. Contact the IMA Public Programs Department at 317-923-1331 with questions about any of our offerings.
