With a collection of more than 54,000 works of art, an early twentieth century estate, 152 acres of gardens and grounds, and an outdoor art and nature park, the IMA campus has something for everyone.

Venture south to Columbus, Indiana, and you'll also find Miller House and Garden - one of the finest examples of American modernist residential architecture.

The Museum

Today, the Museum is open from 11 am to 9 pm. Founded in 1883, the IMA is among the 10 largest and oldest general art museums in the nation with an art collection of more than 54,000 works spanning 5,000 years.

The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park: 100 Acres

100 Acres is open dawn until dusk.Featuring art installations among walking trails and a 35-acre lake, the Park is one of the largest museum contemporary sculpture parks in the world.

Oldfields - Lilly House & Gardens

A National Historic Landmark, this elegant 26-acre estate's interiors reflect the 1930's splendor of the J.K. Lilly family's occupancy. The estate's gardens were designed by the famous landscape architecture firm Olmsted Brothers. The gardens are open from dawn until dusk.

Gardens & Greenhouse

The IMA's gardens and grounds are renowned for their beauty and history. Visitors are encouraged to explore the gardens, which include picturesque views of Robert Indiana’s original LOVE sculpture. The gardens are open from dawn until dusk.

The Toby

Referred to as "the best screening room in Indianapolis," this 550-seat theater is home to culturally adventurous films, talks, and performances.

Miller House and Garden

Miller House and Garden is one of the most significant examples of modern domestic architecture in the world. Its 13 acres of grounds have been called "a classic of modern horticulture, unsurpassed in the United States."
